nm bone and whole body scan

hi 

back story 

on the run up to christmas last year i tried on a body warmer , my my mother held it and i put my hands behind my back and pulled it up up over my shoulders , as i did i had pain in my right shoulder and had extreme pain which still hurts now .

fast found febuaury woke up with pain in breast , felt lump , went to gp got refurred to breast clinic , did scans biospsy while awaiting results i contacted gp about shoulder ( right ) as i cant bend my arm back , cant put my hair up , xray booked ( awaiting results ) , physio booked ( wednesday ) suspected frozen shoulder 

cant take anti inflammantories , due to wafarin , been using deep heat , freeze spray zapain 

i have 2 questions :

1) could my right shoulder cause the cancer ? cancer is in my left breast and lymph nodes 

2) will the body scan show what could be wrong with ny shoulder  ?

aslo 13 yrs ago i had a blood clot in my right subclavin artery , so i have no pulse or blood pressure in my right arm as the surgeon did graft and bypassed the artery

    I am sorry to hear about your situation and appreciate this must be a worrying time and understand you have questions.

    It is easy to assume that symptoms occurring around the same sort of time must be related but this is not always the case and they may be unrelated.

    It sounds like your GP has appropriately referred you to see the physio and to have an x ray to find the cause of your shoulder pain and hopefully you will know more about this soon.

    The biopsies taken at the breast clinic would have given the diagnosis of the breast cancer from the cancer cells seen alongside the mammogram and any other imaging scans you had done. So your right shoulder would not have caused the breast cancer as the cancer started in your left breast and then moved to your lymph nodes.

    The full body and bone scan may highlight something going on in the shoulder area if something concerning is going on.

    Do talk about any concerns you have with your specialist doctor or nurse and I do hope you know more soon.

    no results from x ray :( 2 weeks ago 

     

    concultant has ordered my bone scan from breast clinic to check everything else ok
