Hi I'm 3 weeks after radiotherapy ended .I had 6 weeks of it .My throats still sore I'm eating small meals .just wondering how long the throats gonna be sore thank you
People vary in how long they experience side effects for which makes it difficult to know how long your throat is going to be sore for. But it can take several weeks for this side effect to improve.
The best thing to do is to contact your hospital team, or maybe you have a head and neck specialist nurse (CNS) who you can advise you further on this.
