Unfortunately, we are not able to answer this. The team of doctors do discuss patients at regular meetings, and then decisions are made based on various medical criteria. Cases then have to be booked into available operating theatre slots, often weeks ahead.
I don't know what to suggest to find out more, apart from ringing the consultant's secretary at the hospital. You can have your situation looked into by contacting the hospital PALS service.
