Loss of hair chemo

Hi I have just finished chemo and have lost hair, eyelashes and brows.  My confidence is rock bottom and  I am determined to try and get looking like my old self as soon as possible.  I have purchased a serum that can be applied to lash line to help lashes grow and I would like to get my brows micro bladed. Can anyone advise how soon I can start using the lash product and have my brows done.  My last chemo was 2 weeks ago.   Also how soon can I book a clean at the dentist.  Thank you .

    I am sorry to hear about the treatment you have had and appreciate you wishing to get back to some sort of normality and looking and feeling more your old self again.

    It is usually okay to have microblading from about 3 weeks after your last chemo but it is always best to check with your specialist doctor or nurse to get the go ahead. Once again I think the same would apply with the serum but it important to do a skin patch test before to make sure you don't get a reaction.

    In regards to the dentist it is worth calling your dental practice and discussing the situation with them. The dentist or hygienist may want to make sure your blood counts are stable before prodding and cleaning around your teeth but hopefully will be able to get you in soonish.
