I am sorry to hear about your mum, this must be such a worrying time for you and I can imagine all sorts of things are running through your mind right now.

I'm afraid no one here can tell you any more than you already do. As you say the symptoms she has may well be linked to the heart failure or something completely different, but only further tests and time will be able to say for sure.

Try and take things one step at a time if you can. Of course it must be incredibly frustrating for it to be taking so long for her to be seen especially when she is so poorly. Do let her doctor know if your mum becomes less well or the symptoms change in any way.
