I'm so sorry to hear about your mum -it must be such a difficult time for you all.

It's very difficult to answer any questions like these , as we weren't involved in your mum's care. It may be best if you have any doubts or unanswered questions, to have a chat with your mum's GP, or with the community nurses' manager, as they would be able to look through the notes that were done at the time and may be able to go through them with you.

It would be very unlikely that anything was given to make her die more quickly. Sometimes, people's situation can change very quickly - one day seemingly much better or stable ,then the next day, much worse, with confusion also very common.

I'm sorry you are left with doubts and how quickly things happened in the end. It's hard coming to terms with the death of someone very close to you and it's not uncommon to go over things, going through all the last days, hour by hour.

I hope you manage to talk things through with the GP and /or nurses .
