I last week received a positive fit test i did the sample monday was called on the Wednesday and im in with consultant tomorrow, i am so scared i have so many other symptoms
I am sorry you are experiencing some worrying symptoms and are seeing a consultant today.

Symptoms can be caused by so many different things and often more tests are needed to give the doctors more information about what is going on.
As I am sure you are aware a FIT test is looking for blood in the poo, if high levels are found then they often arrange a camera to be passed through the bowel ( colonoscopy) or a CT scan to find out where the bleeding might be coming from. Some causes of bleeding from the bowel can be piles, polyps, diverticulitis, other inflammatory bowel conditions and in the worse case scenario bowel cancer.
Try and take things one step at a time. Do ask the doctor any questions you may have to help you understand what is going on.

I have the investigation next Saturday for the colonoscopy, i am now at the gp for some more bloods and also an examination of my bottom. Very worried about next week but hopefully they will have some answers for me
