I also had a hysterectomy last jan due to having endometrial cancer, my operation took longer as my womb was stuck to my bladder wall, they said they had to dissect it off my womb, it has left mine not the same as it was, it took 6/8 weeks for the blood to clear in my urine, I felt like I needed to pee more and it also felt a little irritated towards the end of peeing. A year on and I'd say it still feels a little irritated and I still go for a wee far more than I feel I should, I have a check up coming up so will be mentioning it there, no blood in my urine that I can see.

It is not uncommon for women to experience bladder problems after this surgery. Most of the time this will be due to weak pelvic floor muscles. Things do take time to recover after this surgery. 

Do speak with your Dr about this, and see what they suggest to help you. Kegel or pelvic floor exercises as they are known, can help alot.
