Found a small lump, got antibiotics which finish tomorrow and got letter for appointment which is 3rd March. I really feel mentally I can't wait that length of time to be seen? Feeling very anxious.
I appreciate having to wait until next month for your appointment can be very stressful. Unfortunately because of the pandemic there have been changes and delays to appointments.
It may be worth giving the clinic a ring to see if they get any cancellations so that you could be fitted in at an earlier date. It might also help to talk things over with your GP again in case they can be more reassuring or help you decide what to do. Because your GP has examined you they are in a better position to tell you if this referral was to be on the safe side or if there are grounds for more concern. And it may be worth letting them know how long you are having to wait.
I did call the hospital but there is no cancellation list as such but I can phone daily on the off chance. I will call Doc tomorrow as I am sore more now than last week and feels like an infection.
