post Colon polypectomy

I had a large pre cancerous polyp removed from colon just over 2 weeks ago. I had no bleeding until 2 days ago. I had a dizzy and nauseas spell which came on suddenly and I  had to lie down until it passed  and then a tiny amount of bleeding which then stopped and no more bleeding for two days but now I have black poo this morning. Is all of this normal after a polypectomy? I can't get a doctors appointment for at least three weeks. I'm a triple negative breast cancer 4 year survivior. Thanks for taking the time to read this.

    This doesn't sound normal after a polypectomy but delayed bleeding can happen in a small number of people. I think this may need to be assessed in case the bleeding is still going on, so most probably you need to get some advice from the hospital endoscopy department where the polypectomy was done - phone them and see what they say. Or if you can't get through to them, or manage to arrange an urgent GP appointment, you can call NHS 111 for their advice. 

    I hope someone in the endoscopy team can help and that you can easily get their input.
