Recovery varies between people to be honest and it is impossible to definitely say when someone will be able to return to work. Yes for a breast surgery like this a week off may be an okay time frame to go back but for other people more time may be needed depending on how you feel and if you feel fit enough to do your job.

It is important you don't feel rushed back too quickly so do speak to the team involved in your care as will be in a better place to give you clearer possible time frames. You can always call up the breast unit and ask to speak to one of the nurses.
