Unfortunately, I am not in a position to be able to say for sure that this is normal and I wouldn't want to give you any false reassurance, but sometimes after surgery scar tissue can form which might feel a bit lumpy and when nerves are disturbed they can take a long time to heal.

It is usually better to be cautious and stay on the safe side, so I think the best thing to do would be to run this past your GP and get their input. Hopefully, they will be able to reassure you. 

I hope you can get an appointment easily and that there is nothing to worry about.
