Sore Tongue

Hi, I was diagnosed with ET in March 2020 and have been taking Hydroxycarbamide 500mg orally once a day since. Apparently my blood levels are now all good. In the last couple of  months I have been experiencing a sore or even numbing on the right side of my tongue and it has, I think, what's calles 'scallopping' along the sore edge of the tongue. I went to the dentist a month ago and had 2 fillings as jagged teeth may have originally caused the soreness, but the problem is still there. I have also taken Difflam oral rinse for a week (given to me by the doctor with my first lot of Chemo tablets) but this didn't help.

Can anybody give me any advice please?

Many thanks,

Victor
