Having a smear test done can be uncomfortable and it is possible to bleed during and after it, this should start to get better.

I think the best thing to do now is to see how this goes and if your bleeding continues particularly if it becomes very heavy, you develop a discharge (this could be a sign of an infection)  and if you are still in pain make a GP appointment.
