I'm sorry to hear your baby has a lump on their thigh that is worrying you but I'm afraid no one on here can say what this might be or if it is anything to worry about.

There could be many simple and non serious reasons for this such as a lipoma as the doctor suggested or a reaction after baby vaccinations but hopefully it will settle soon.

See how it goes but if you remain worried and it changes or you notice any other symptoms do go back and see the doctor. You can always request a different doctor if you prefer.

Try not to think the worse if you can but do arrange another GP appointment if you are concerned.
