Hysteroscopy endometrial biopsy results

It's been 2 weeks I have had a histeroscopy with biopsy because of a  Postmenopausal bleeding with thick endometrial line. I should have received the results today. The nurse called me and said they didn't  receive the results back yet. It's been very hard this waiting and now I need to wait more time yet. Now I am very anxious thinking that this delay might be because they found cancer....is it normal the delay of hysteroscopy endometrial biopsy results ?

    Please try to not read too much into how long your results are taking. This is because across the whole of the UK the NHS is still being affected by the Covid pandemic so many routine tests and investigations are taking longer to be known.

    Waiting for results can be a difficult time so hopefully you have friends and family that can support you at this time.
