Many people complain of lumps or skin lesions at some point in their life and most won't be anything as serious as cancer.

We can't diagnose anyone on the forum but it is reassuring to hear that they have been checked by two GP's and they were not concerned. Doctors have guidelines that they can refer to when looking for any worrying features. If they haven't grown in a year they sound like they are unlikely to be anything serious. It is really only the GP's that can actually look at the lumps that will be able to tell you more about them. 

They would be unlikely to be verruca's as these usually appear on the feet.

If you are feeling depressed you may find it helpful to talk this through with your GP. The Mental Health Foundation has some information about depression which you may find helpful to look at here
