Referral letter

I received a copy of my referral letter today and I was really unsettled with the contents. 
 

The dermatologist said that scc was probable or it could be porocarcinoma.   She did not mention this at all at our meeting.  Also she referred to my forearm in the letter and it is my foot. 

of course I looked it up and I am heartbroken I didn't see this coming after being told by my gp and nurses that it was common and nothing to worry about

I have an appointment with the specialist on Thursday but I'm not coping well and keep having breakdowns

I know it's not long to wait but after having breast cancer I just wanted to have some good times

thank you for letting me vent I feel like I'm bringing everyone down around me

    Thsnk you for coming back to me

    Yestetday was such a massive shock I ended up with a migraine and took myself off to bed to sleep it off. I think it was because my granddaughter was so distraught and watching her cry was heartbreaking.

     It's just the waiting that is so frustrating because I can cope with a treatment plan so I know the way forward.

    Luckily with my breast cancer it was only early stage but I did have to have a mastectomy which I found quite difficult and I never wanted to be in this position  again but these are the cards I have been dealt and hopefully they will be able to treat it

    I got my appointment letter today for Monday 7th but it is with a specialist skin cancer nurse and not a consultant 

    Is this normal as I thought results came from your GP or a consultant
