Do biopsies hurt?

Hello, I have been referred to the breast clinic for a lump under my nipple/areola. I'm not sure if they will biopsy it for sure but I want to prepare myself incase they do. What I want to know is does it hurt? I'm petrified of pain... even though I have had 3 children :laugh: and it makes Me nervous even more because I have to go on my own! Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Xxx

    I am delighted to hear that no cancer was found and, I am sure that you must feel mightily relieved about this, You might find it helpful to write down some questions for your GP, so that you get further clarification about your diagnosis.

    I am so glad to hear that you are going to stay on the forum to help others with the benefit of your experience.

    I sincerely hope that your GP can shed more light on your condition and, that something can be done to help you.
