No my blood was fine but my calprotectin is high and I've been poo-big blood for 5 weeks, going to the loo up to 6 times a day. loss of appetite, weight loss and fatigue. Not good :(
With my partner, we were waiting for 3 weeks to even get him to a surgery (he had testicular cancer) and almost another 3 weeks to receive actual results. The waiting time is awful, I'm so sorry to hear you have to go through this.
thank you for replying. It’s horrible this wait I keep thinking no news is good but talking to other people they have waited much longer than the 12 days. I really hope you partner will be ok. What a terrible time for you Both and to take time to reply.
That’s not good. Wish they would hurry up for you. My haemoglobin went from 125 to 54 so needed 2 blood transfusions. With that and my toilet issues they said I must be bleeding internally so they would investigate for cancer. I have everything crossed for you x
Hello I am Day 16 now I just phoned Dr practise and receptionist told me they have received a letter but there is a Drs note which says will discuss at next contact!! My Dr is not in until tom I asked to speak to any Dr but was told they are only dealing with emergency’s!! I have asked that my Dr call me tomorrow! As I do not understand the discuss at next contact means???? I am more worried now than before the phone call if it’s not cancer would they just not say? Have you called your Drs practise? PaM
I spoke to the consultants secretary who said if there was anything concerning then they would have contacted me sooner so I guess it's a good sign that it's a letter I'm waiting for - I'm wondering if it's the same for you? It could have come back clear and they may be talking about next steps perhaps? It's so hard at this stage as you have no idea what to expect, I know it's easier said than done but try not to worry x
