I'm awaiting my 2 week wait but they are not hitting the deadline and will be 3 weeks and 2 days until I go. I'm driving myself insane with worry crying and just low in mood. 
I have discharge and when I went to the Gp they found a lump. I also have severe upper arm pain so know it has spread as that's a direct sign I'm out if my mind Iv had the arm pin for months and months now I'm 39 

Hey - yes I attended alone, mainly because I was convinced the doctor would tell me it's nothing / hormones or something and to just crack on.. a couple of friends have had that experience so thought it would be the same for me. 
 

it came as a huge shock for him to spend more time than I thought assessing the hardened area and asking questions and the word biopsy sent me into a bit of a tailspin! 
 

im coping ok at the moment, just find I have no energy and feeling pretty blue but I always do better when I know the issue at hand so jsut itching for the appt date to put my mind at ease (hopefully) I hope you hear something today! Xxx

I had a pain in my right breast and a lumpy area. Went to doctors and she was more concerned over a red mark I had on my right breast. She said she would refer me and it would be two weeks but they are running behind.

I got my letter and my appointment isn't until 1st December......

Rang my doctor and she said that they were running behind so the fact i got an appointment before Christmas is positive and she isn't too worried as I am 34.

Since seeing doctor, thd pain has gone but now have a mark on my left breast......

Got a long worrying wait, and its driving me mad. I've waited 3 weeks already and when i get to my appointment it'll 7 weeks since my doctors appointment......

I noticed a lump on Monday, got into GP Tuesday and they found a different lump so referred my to breast clinic for mammogram and advised 2wks too - I am still waiting apt but hope I don't have to wait until Dec like you are having to. It's the unknown that's scary. I have had headache and phantom pains but think this is all due to stressing over possible diagnosis. Hope we all keep safe, well and sane whilst we wait- best of luck to you all

I was recently at the Leeds clinic and the policy there is a friend can come for results but not scans but they prefer you to go alone .. I had a friend wait in their car and messaged whilst  waiting

I am so sorry to hear this, I have upper arm pain also aswell as severe lower back pain and headaches . I am the same as you I have such low mood and keep crying all the time , I just want to know the diagnosis either way.  I have totally convinced myself it has spread. 

Iam 36 , I just don't know who to turn to , my back pain will not go away it doesn't matter which way I sit or lye or if I take paracetamol. I had to lye on the bed yesterday after hoovering the stairs which is not like me at all.

what date is your appt ? Are you able to bring anyone with you ? 
 

Try and remain positive, I know it's possible as I'm the same low mood... I usually run 4-5x a week and am very active but all I want to do is sleep and rest and be quiet.. I just want my date and to know what I'm dealing with xxx

Thank you [@AMP257]‍ - I can't imagine going on my own so may take your approach and have a friend wait in the car outside so they are there for support immediately after if required. 
 

I hope your experience was ok on the whole ? I have no idea what to expect and how a biopsy feels... x

It's so frustrating isn't it. Some people say they received their appointment a day or two after initial referral and others are waiting longer than the two weeks. When the GP examined you, did he/she seem concerned? Hope you're otherwise well xx
