Thankyou so much for your advice abs and keeping a check on me i really appreciate it 

When inwent to dermo they said i would be back in july to report if the mole has changed etc however i had no letter so rang the hospital and they told me october was there next available times but i still dont have an appointment they said they would send a letter when they wanted me back in but i now have the anxiety of whta if they have forgotton about my appointment etc 

Would they have removed it there an then if it was on the cancerous side? Its a fairly big aytipical mole that from what i can remember didnt have a mix of colours as a child however i didnt no how long that the colours had been there for which made me more anxious he just said we will go by the pictures on your next appointment and go from there so im guessing if its changed they will remove it? Oe can i request them to remove it as its causing me severe anxiety :( my mole ive been checking it evreyday since and i dont know if its my mind playing tricks on me but i keep thinking was it like this yesterday and im just driving myself insane its so hard to tell if its changed even when i take pictures with it having a lot of small detaila to it aswell hope that makes sense xx

Im so sorry you too have been through a journey like i am it really is quite scary and i am axious all the time. My childhood mole is quite a big one ansld has a mix of different colours which i dont remember being there in childhood howver its alwaya been a big mole even throughout infancy. Skin cancer dosent run in my family as im aware of only me and my sister havw a lot of moles my mum is naturally fair ans a red head but she hasnt got any moles mostly freckles ans shes never needed to go to dermo for anything which baffles me more as im thinking why am i like this :(

Did they remove your childhood mole the big one with mix of colours in the end?

I have a lot of moles they checked them all last time i was there and told me they werw all okay but wanted to monitor the one on my leg with it having a mix of colours ans being a big one

Did any of your moles grow back once they had been removed?

Not sure if I replied to this one or not but : I think if I was in your situation I would maybe go to the gp and explain the pressure and anxiety the wait is having on you, they might be able to look at it for you again and compare with photos if you have them to give you peace of mind. 
Mine is smaller than a pencil eraser but not a defined circle it's not really jagged of anything it's just not a circle or oval. In terms of the colour it's always been a darker one and it goes lighter to edges But I can only see that in photos.

Hi - yes big one with both tan colour and much darker brown and irregular (the 5cm one - that's really very very big) was removed in the end though not immediately. Benign.

Others all multiple colours (many at least 3), irregular and bigger than 6mm in diameter - up to cm.

Have lots of muli-coloured moles many of which GP/Consultants say not worrying (despite changing) and some say need to watch more (also changing)

Only one of the moles that was previously excised is regrowing. That one had been found to be mildly dysplastic - all the others removed were high dysplasia. For mild dysplasia it's watch and see. Others taken out same day were high dysplasia so low dysplasia one probably only taken out because it was so close to another mole that had changed lots and also got really itchy/strange tingling. 

Have lots of irregular moles, lots of colours, bigger than 6mm. Have to keep an eye on them. Can't worry all the time. I'd go mad. Have learnt to relax.

Its all new to me so i need to get some more knowledge on aytipical moles etc 

My big mole bigger than a pencil rubber but has always been this big dosent itch but just looks unsighlty with a mix of colours evreytime i look at it i just cant help thinking this cant be normal :( it dosent itch or bleed though which i guess is a good sign?

Thanks for the reply hun ill be ringing them monday morning to see if they can contact dermo for me and explain my worrys to them 

Mine is fairly big but its perfect round if that makes sence but has mix of colours inside the mole 

There usually pretty good and call within the same week you go to gp fingers crossed foe you xxxx

100% I'm sure they will out you at ease and try find out what's happening about your appointment. Keep us posted how you get on tomorrow.

Hi lovely i rang the doctors surgery which they gave me the hospitals number i ranflg them and they told me they were behind on hospial appointments atm and if ive not had a letter by next week i need to ring them again :( no help at all xx
