I feel the same way , I'm 44 and waiting for the biopsy results but I'm not thinking positive. I was told it's most likely benign and a fibroadenoma. The lump is big and when I noticed it it was already that size . So I guess it grew fast .But I diagnosed myself after week of google search with phyllodes . I'm down in the dumps to say the least . I'm trying to keep it together in front of my husband. I'm gutted , this is going to be a huge negative impact on our life and hate that I'm doing this to him

Just try to stay positive.  I know its hard. It's been 2 years since I had my biopsy. It's still there and did get a bit bigger but has been the same size for 18 months. It does ache sometimes when I lay on my side . I still worry that at some point I'll get it after my mum and nan dying of breast cancer but I've just tried to keep on top of checking myself.

When do you get your results? Mine is in my armpit and is 6cm it take up the whole length.  Mine came out of nowhere too it was about the size of a pea but 4 days later had grown to what it is now . Google was not my friend all I could find was information saying fibroadenomas happened in younger women. But the last few years I've found loads of women in their 40's with them.

got a phone Call today to arrange appointment with consultant . She wouldnt say on the phone If result came back as nőn-cancerous Or cancerous ? I thought i would get an answer after 10 days wait. But more Waiting . Is it possible to request a copy of the results prior consultation ? Also why They dont Tell me on the phone . Im a wreck :(
