Hi Emma I'm waiting on the results of my biopsy as I too found a lump and they couldn't tell what it was on the ultrasound. I'm 42 so wasn't expecting it at all either xx

Yes it is. I went on Wednesday and I have a appointment for my results this Thursday. I was told I may need to come back for another one if they didn't get enough to test. My mum died of breast cancer when  I was 35 so I'm terrified history is repeating xx

Kelbelash - Breast cancer is one of the most survivable forms of cancer these days, so trust in the medicine and in the legion of sisters before you. 

Emmajade28- Biopsy are usually quite accurate. In all the repeat biopsies for my mother and myself, the later biopsies always confirmed the first one. Fingers crossed that yours continue to show just pre-cancerous cells. 

Keep us updated, darlings. Its very hard not to worry and I remember being a completely basket case. In the meantime, pls try to eat well, sleep well and get some sun into your system. Even if you dont feel like it, tell yourselves that If anything, its to shore your strength for anything that might be to come (hopefully not). Please take care of yourselves.

I'm trying to keep busy. I swing from being very positive to then thinking I'm going to die it's really hard the not knowing bit. I'm in pain from the biopsy too my lump is on the bend of my armpit so it keeps getting squashed! 

Thank you for your reply, I'm hoping the second biopsy comes back the same as the first one I don't think they got enough tissue,I'm trying to eat etc but it's so hard as my anxiety keeps on telling me the worse case all the time xxx

Hi I have been diagnosed with grade 2 breast cancer, having chemotherapy to shrink the tumor so they can remove it and then radiotherapy, my oncologist said it was caught early hasn't spread,I'm petrified of having chemotherapy but at least it's a step closer to getting rid of this, thank you so much for asking how I got on xxxxx

I am very sorry to hear abour your diagnosis. Glad at the same time to hear that it hasnt spread, whcih will make for a shorter and less intense chemo I am sure. Lots of light and love and hugs for when you start chemo. When does it start? 

Will be thinking of you and pls take care of yourself in the meantime, think of it as shoring up strength to bring through chemo and the rest in a good state. 

I'm having 6cycles 3 weeks apart starting this Wednesday,its only to shrink the tumor so i can have a lumpectomay it's her positive xxxx
