Have you had your ultrasound yet? I've been waiting for one for a lump in my neck since April.

It hasn't grown and my blood tests came back clear. No other symptoms aside from being fatigued. The doctors aren't concerned and referred me for an ultrasound mostly for my peace of mind. 

I have phoned the hospital and am definitely in the system but 8 months on I'm still waiting and the lump is not going away! I'm trying not to worry but I just want to know what it is now. 

Hi, so sorry I've not updated been so busy with life and the whole corona situation. 
 

went for an ultrasound in September after waiting since around may, the doctor said everything is fine and as I'm so young it's so uncommon for the lumps to be anything bad, it still plays on my mind daily that I have these unexplainable lumps but I'm happy it's nothing. It's not ideal to have such a long wait, I was also so worried but stay positive!!

Hi sorry to bother you! Did you have to wait from may? To September to go and get them checked? I'm just worried as I'm the same, I've been referred recently and I just want to get it over and done with as I'm young and worried about it!

Just wanted to update on my situation. Finally went for an ultrasound last week after waiting since April. I also ended up having a CT scan while I was there to get a clearer picture of what's going on. They think the lump is a sebaceous cyst and nothing to suggest it's cancerous. Being referred to ENT now to discuss next steps and hopefully removal. No idea how long the wait might be again but at least I can stop worrying so much now. Hope you get seen soon but trust that if you've not been referred urgently then fingers crossed it's nothing to worry about (easier said than done I know!). 

Fantastic I'm so glad to hear that is nothing to worry about! Least you can get it sorted out now! I got my referral today to the ENT in the afternoon their! Have to do a consultation over the phone first and then we go from their! I am still a bit worried but I suppose whay will be will be! It can be so many things and google is just the worst to look at!

Hi! Yep I had to wait from May to get an ultrasound at the hospital! 
3 days ago I noticed another lump on my kneck on the opposite side, so the worrying is taking over me again, I had a bit of a stomach bug when I noticed it so I'm hoping my lymph node just swelled up from that however only one is swollen and my stomach bug has now gone so I'm worried and just praying it goes soon! 
Have you heard anything back yet?
