Hi, may I ask if u ever got confirmation of your hemangioma? I've been told by a radiologist that she is "pretty certain" this is what I have. But consultant may wish to do an MRI. I'm so worried
Hi
try not to worry I ended up having an mri and it was a benign hemangioma which apparently lots of people have but don't even realise they have
i understand how you feel though as I was so worried too
really unlikely to be anything more than that I have been told now
let me know though
take care
Thanks so much for replying. I'm trying to stay positive. My consultant is seeing me on Tuesday to discuss my results. I just hope he says it's definitely a hemangiomas but something is telling me he'll want to do an MRI, and then my nightmare begins all over again! I read online they can be mistaken for C so of course I'm now convincing myself that is the case. I will let you know. Thank you again for replying x
Fingers crossed for you but sure it will be a simple hemangioma and then you can relax
keep safe
Thank you. Yes I keep trying to remember the words of the Consultant Radiologist "they just look like hemangiomas I'm pretty certain that's what they are". And then preceded to tell me about them and even said constulsnt may not even feel it is necessary to do an MRI but he may want to just to check whether they've grown. I keep thinking if she wasnt certain, then why would she mention hemangiomas. She also said she can't understand why I am getting pain as they don't usually cause pain. Hopefully all will be fine but will let you know what happens. Do you get any trouble with yours and do you have to get it checked every so often?
Have been told do not need checked again
had pain but was my gallbladder and had that removed in end
I think a consultant radiologist will definitely know what they are looking at so pretty sure all is ok
Hi,
I have being diagnosed with six tumours on my liver called FNH I do not believe they don't cause pain like they say as I get pain quiet often even though I'm told they don't. X
