I don't know if you can have dry red blood, at a guess it could be from your piles.

Hoping your GP can reassure you and answer any questions you may have wanted to ask your consultant.

[@Hope2bcancerFree]‍ I’m noticing mucus blood on my stool, on top and mixed, well that’s what it looks like. I’ve been a mess since yesterday. Really struggling. I just feel like staying in bed not getting up.

Please don't stay in bed, from personal experience that is a slippery slope to severe depression.

Please express your feelings to your GP, and let us know how you get on.

[@Hope2bcancerFree]‍ I just feel extremely down and this  is really getting to me. My husband can’t seem to understand why I’m worrying so he can’t relate. I can’t go see my mum cause of the covid so extremely stuck.

Found another lump in my mouth, GP told me to phone on monday but I failed to.

Sorry your husband does not understand and that you feel so down.

This is very similar to my case. I've had bright red bleeding starting of at around 1/2 times a week around 10 years ago. I had it checked once early on, and the hospital ruled out anything serious. But it gradually bled more often and recently it's more like 5/6 times a week, and quite scary as the toilet is usually left bright red. There isn't much blood, but I guess even the slightest amount can leave the toilet bowl red.

[@Joshtw]‍  Hi I have not got mine checked yet as I have fallen pregnant and now I have to wait till I have given birth. Though the blood I see now is more like a maroon dark red mixed with mucas, which is much scarier but I can’t do much but wait. I’m sure yours is piles but still have it checked by your doctors to be on the safe side. 

Get a colonoscopy should be fine I have serious bleeding everyday  maybe 3 times a day mine was diagnosed as divaticulitis sorry if I spelled it wrong sometimes I can be sitting waiting on the bleeding to stop for a half hour .it's usually about half hour after eating food .I found spicey foods trigger this also gives me a constant burning sensation around guts hope you get sorted soon
