I know, totally terrifying but trying to be strong and calm with the rest of family and friends is hard too, it's so good to hear from everyone on here with there journeys and so helpful.  I've found keeping busy helps a little, but I think this will be the longest week ever waiting for the biopsy results and what and when treatment will start.  I so hope all goes well for you, be thinking of you and wish you the best of luck xxx

It happened to me too in October 2019. I had a lump on my right breast and a benign lump on my left. I had biopsies, CT scans, mammograms and your team will discuss the best treatment for you when you get your results and then everything will move quickly.

Thank you so much, although it's been a whirlwind few days, (I had my recall from a routine mammogram on Thursday last week to go for further tests on Saturday and told it was cancer by the radiologist and hopefully looking at lumpectomy and radiotherapy at the best scenario), biopsy results next Wednesday, feeling a bit like a rabbit caught in the headlights at the minute, and finding all the posts on here so very helpful and reassuring, although still utterly terrifying as well due to the unknown, the waiting is so hard, even after the diagnosis I assume there's going to be another even longer wait for treatment. Thank you so much for replying. Xxx
