Hi Claire my surgeon was really confident it hadn’t spread to the nodes and yours must be too to say that. Obviously they don’t know for sure until biopsies are done but mine was right and hopefully yours is too. When you back on Friday they will know what type of cancer it is and have a plan for you. I was operated on the following week and then had a 3 week wait for confirmation it hadn’t spread. That’s a hard time but I felt relieved the tumour was out so was feeling positive. It’s so hard right now and you’ve been through so much but hang on in there , you’ve got this xxx

I don’t normally worry until I know there is something to worry about... this has turned everything upside down . So now I’m worrying until I am told I don’t need to . 

Ive been watching all sorts of rubbish on the tv ,even Christmas films !!

unfortunately it looks like I’ve joined the club . 

Had mammogram, ultrasound and core biopsies. As well as the lump I knew about there was another near the nipple and a lymph node they took samples of.. so back next week for the results of the biopsies. Also waiting for a date for a CT scan . 

I knew it wasn’t good when we were took into a room with comfy chairs and a box of tissues.. seemed to take ages before the consultant and breast care nurse came in.

To be honest I don’t really know ( I am worried it’s spread though )I sort of knew beforehand .. just had a feeling .. I haven’t cried (yet ) I’m hoping to not think about it til next week when I get the biopsies results.. they also did a blood test today ( gave me the sticker on a yellow piece of paper which lets the nurse know you’ve had bad news and may not want to talk apparently!)
