2 weeks ago i had a fna thyroid biopsy due to me having a lump in my neck, its agonising waiting fir the results and as to why its taking so long, i feel so alone
Thank you, that's kind of you. Tests came back showing thyroid cancer. The surgery will be in the next few weeks. Onwards and upwards. I'm grateful there's no more waiting around, not knowing was terrible. Started to affect me.

Thanks for your reply. Were you in hospital long post-op? I'll be having the same as you by the sounds of it as malignancies were found. Trying to figure out juggling home life, young kids, school runs etc with all this going on too.

Aww bless ya, i bet its a weight off your shoulders now you have an answer though, iv been hearing realy good stories of the op though, a friend of mine on fb had it done 2 years ago and she is absolutely all good now, its so hard to take in though, here if ever you need a chat, yes im still waiting for my results xx
Good to know about your friend. That's reassuring. Does feel overwhelming with how much information is given during the appointment, but it feels good to know things are getting sorted.

I had my operation on Monday, the 6th of January and left hospital the following Sunday. You might not be in as long if they don't find anything in the lymph nodes, but it's probably best to prepare for a week or thereabouts. It was very boring.
