Are you able to go to a private clinic as April is a long wait especially if you are worried the costs are really not that bad I found it reasonable as my nerves could t cope with the wait in my case

Thanks Lara, I looked at my nearest private clinic and it was in the region of £500-1000. I might enquire how long their waiting time is though. It's so horrible just waiting, my mind is going through every scenario and it's wearing me down. 

I have decided I'll go to my GP next week and ask for some advice, and if they can prescribe something for the pain as ibuprofen doesn't do anything for it.

Hi Lara, I'm ok thanks for asking, no appointments- they said I will hear by April. So I'm trying to put it to the back of my mind.

had an ultrasound on my ovaries today (unrelated issue) and I wished they could have scanned my armpit too!

It's just normal breast tissue that's formed itself into a lump, thank God!! Fingers crossed for you xxx
