Hi,

I went to my GP as I have been having persistent bloating, tiredness, lightheadness and headaches for around 3 weeks and have been having irregular light periods since August. They did a whole bunch of blood tests and everything came back fine except that my CA 125 was 75 (normal is 35). I've been referred for an ultrasound but I'm so scared it could be ovarian cancer. 

I thought it could be a hormone issue as I've been noticing tiredness and migranes related to my cycle. I hasn't even considered ovarian cancer until my GP tested me for CA 125 and now I'm freaking out. 

I read CA 125 can be elevated during period. I was on day 2 of my period when I had the blood test. I wondered if anyone had any knowledge about the CA 125? Also, can anyone share their experiences?
