Hi, I absolutely know how your feeling it is frightening when you feel a lump. You definitely do need to phone the doctors in the morning even if it turns out to be nothing it will put your mind at ease.

I've made it sore now and it's swollen a bit as I keep prodding and poking it about. 
Im googling everything I can and I know it's not helping but I can't help it I feel like I need to know what I'm going into? 
i just have a bad feeling about it all!!! 
 

Hi, I was exactly the same by going on Google and trying to find out but I think it just makes you feel worse and makes you start thinking the worse. Poor love you. Try not to go prodding it to much though, I know it's difficult as you know it's there. I was exactly the same as you so I know how you must be feeling.

Thank you for taking the time to reply to me. Sorry if this is rude but did your lump turn out to be cancer? When I first found it this morning I had to really prod it, it feels like a lump of tissue but as the days gone on and I've poked it my boob feels swollen! 
 

No its fine, yes im stage 2 breast cancer. Im having mastectomy on Thursday, and lymph glands removed. My lump I could and can feel straight away its about 6cms. Yours could just turn out to be a cyst. It's better if you try not to poke it as thats making it swollen. Im sure the doctor will be able to help you tomorrow x

So went to the GP this morning, he said I need to be checked at the breast clinic, and am now on the 2 week pathway. He wasn't overly sure but said it's best to get it checked. Now the waiting. I feel physically sick and I feel like o need to prepare myself for the bad news that's coming. 

I'm glad you've been to doctors. Hopefully you won't have to wait too long. I had appointment about 2 weeks later after doctor referred me. I know the waiting is hard tho, as everything goes around in your head. Im here if ever you need a chat xx
