Don't be scared if they have to biopsy, the margin for biopsies are so low. If they can see what you feel on the scan they will more than likely biopsy. 

I had my appointment on Wednesday and had a biopsy. I started to panic but the nurses and Consultant reassured me.

Had my appointment this morning, got the all clear consultant said my dent will be a vein that has pulled tight and the thickening will be caused by my bra.

Ah amazing! I'm so happy for you! Did you have a scan? No nothing yet but could be this afternoon depending on when the post comes. If I dont get a letter by tomorrow I've got a reference number to use over the phone to make sure I get an appointment x

Yes usually 2 weeks. My appointment is on 14th September but consultant isn't concerned, treating the biopsy as triple check.

I just had a mammogram, he did say I may have a biopsy but I suppose there was no need with the mammogram being clear. X

Oh brilliant what a relief! I actually feel like the lump is slightly smaller the last couple of days which has made me feel better although it's definitely still there and still quite large. It definitely felt like a 'mass" a few days ago very lumpy and I couldn't quite figure out where the edges of it were, but now 'm feeling more of a defined shape if that makes sense. I swear I've never touched my boobs as much as I have this last week!! Poor thing doesn't know what's hit it haha! I will keep the thread updated but I'm.so happy for you're good news! X

Haha yeah I've never fondled myself as much in my life!! It's only natural I suppose to fear the worst. I was convincing myself that there was no other explanation as to why I had this crevice on my boob  I wasn't very good at checking but that's going to change, I need to know every lump  bump and dip from now on.

Me too! I would sporadically check and not very thoroughly ill admit. I think its my naivety due to my age but if this turns out be fine I will be checking properly and regularly. I read you can sign up to coppafeel updates and they will send you text reminders so I'm going to set one of those up. I've just seen the postie on my way back from picking my daughter up from nursery.. it took everything in me not to rugby tackle her to the floor and see if I had a letter haha! Hopefully one will be with me today fingers crossed xx
