Hey guys, just looking for some advice.
I have 3 dimples on the underside of my breast. One looks like a thumb print shaped crater, and the other two look like shallow grooves which together form a line about 2 inches long. All of them are only visible when I raise my arm (but disappear when i lie down, and I can stretch them out - I'm hoping that's a promising sign?)
I’m 38, and my boobs are 38dd so quite big.
Trouble is, my GP says that, because I don’t have a lump, pain, nipple discharge/inversion nor any family history, we don’t need to worry, and can just check in with her again in 4 weeks to check the dimples haven’t changed.
Should I trust my GP, or would you push for a referal? I appreciate she is both a doctor, and a woman…so should know what she is talking about, but I’ve read so many stories about women who had breast dimples with no lumps, but still had cancer.
I guess what I’m asking is….what would you do?
