Hi, I'm not sure how much I'll be able to help but I wasn't much older than your daughter when my mum was diagnosed with bowel cancer, I was 19/20 (I can't really remember as the last few years have been a bit of a blur with everything happening :/ ) so if you want any advice on how to speak to her about your diagnosis I can try my best to help. x

Yes deffinatly I would love to keep in touch , you have been so helpful billy and I am very grateful , I saw the surgeon yesterday it’s going to be a very long process but as it’s spread through the wall of my bowel now but I’m staying positive as they are going to get me sorted but I will keep you updated , we have to keep going billy don’t we and I’m so glad I joined this forum , u have been amazing and helped me make some new friends ,  please stay in touch won’t you , I hope u have a lovley day ( in the rain lol ) thank you again , sending big hugs to u and your wife x

P.s just a quick note my wife was run over buy a lorry over fifty years ago a year later she got gangrene of the bowels caused by the accident so she had quite a bit taken away she's had no problems with that since, i now it not cancer but both can be very nasty things and treatment has improved no end in fifty years, glad you got some new friends,.
