Yes waiting for pathology results which are on 26th.

Doing ok thanks, if a little emotional at times due to aneasthetic I imagine and delayed reaction. All fine though thanks.

Hi Jolamine,

Thank you for your lovely welcome. 

I go to see my consultant at the beginning of July for the results. Feeling worried about that.

My cancer was found on an extra mammogram that is part of a trial. Our local surgery was chosen and three of us in our village were recalled. My cancer has been found early, and I am feeling very grateful. 

My consultant has said that depending on my results, I will have fifteen radiotherapy sessions, Tamoxifen for five years and yearly mammograms.

I managed to go for a walk with Patch, my rescue dog, and it did me good. I am still wearing the white stockings, although I am very mobille.

Hi Eizzil,

I suspect that your emotions are more due to your diagnosis than the anaesthetic. Most of us cry copiously and find our emotuions all over the place at this stage. It usually improves once you start treatment.

Thinking of you and hoping that your results are good.

Aren’t you lucky? – not to have cancer, but to catch it as a result of a trial mammogram. Hopefully, this means that you have caught it early.

It’s reassuring to know that your treatment is all clearly defined for you – so much easier when you know exactly what is happening.
