Thank you so much for your message, so kind of you to remember me.

All went well yesterday apart from expecting a morning operation and not getting operated on until 3.30.

Had a good sleep last night, had the neural block and and been given plenty of pain killer.  Seem pretty normal today.

Just like you had I have to wait for the results now, three to four weeks.   The cut us uner my breast so I don't think it will be visible at all, that wasn't a big concern of mine anyway.

All along I have kept you in mind and it has really helped me.

Hi sue, I'm so pleased that part is over for you & you're now starting on the road to recovery. Make sure you do your stretches as I'm sure you've been told, once you're able as it helps get the movement back. 

I ended up developing fluid in my arm pit but nothing to worry about, hospital just drained it with no further issues. 

I felt same re scar, mines at the top so visible but I don't care either. Once I'd got my plaster off & had 1st shower I used witch hazel gel which really brought out the bruising around my breast & underarm from lymph removal too. It cleared very nicely.

I (& all on here) know exactly how you're feeling & it seems like it's all you think about. 

have you got operation arranged & have they advised if you'll need treatment after? 
 

I managed by trying to take each day at a time & not thinking too far ahead. Step by step. It's hard I know but if you can, try to remain positive as you will get through this & as ladies on here helped me, we're all kicking cancers butt.
