If you have melanoma that's 0.9mm or more you have a lymph node biopsy to check to see if it has spread mine was 2mm.

Thanks got my pet scan appointment on Tuesday. Is a pet scan whole body including head.

Hi if melanoma is 0.9mm or more They do a lymph node biopsy mine was 2mm and unfortunately they found a small amount of melanoma in lymph node.

It depends where your melanoma was and what the consultant has asked for.

My melanoma was on my right side of foot and lymph nodes taken from groin.
