im new here and I just got the diagnostic of cervical cancer. I had smear test every year for last 5 year, hpv positive, and now I ve got the bad news that some cells became invasive. Consultant says I will need to get mri but im worry about delay. Im waiting from last 2 weeks and I didn't get appointment, im worry to not getting worst in this waiting time. Im very scared, I can't sleep thinking about this. I try to get myself strong just thinking I don't have any symptom and maybe is not so advanced stage. How long need to wait usually to get on treatment. Hysterectomy scare me too ( im 43 yo). Im worry about stage, last year smear test was ok, no symptoms at all, consultant say something about 2mm, treatment will be histerectomy radiotherapy and chemo but couldn't mention the stage. Anyone in same situation with me?
