what about a stem cell transplant? I’m having this chemo in the hope to get me into transplant. Was it your mothers kidneys that caused her to pass from this chemo?? X 

No my mother died in a tragic accident.  It's just me that has the Non hodgkin's lymphoma.

ohhhhhhh I’m with you aww god how terrible for you. Iv heard great things about the car T cell therapy hoping you get into the trial very soon x 

I start giving blood on Tuesday and then have to wait for the cells to be removed and engineerd

Hi Sara, I know this post was a while ago. I just wondered how you were doing? I have follicular lymphoma, bendamustne and rituximab in 2017, then ritux for a year after. Still cannot get rid of green phglegm, blocked nose and constant cough, which I can honestly say I have had for 2/3 with varying severity. Just wondered how you are?

I finally got rid of the cough, blocked nose and green phlegm after several courses of antibiotics, it was such a relief! I've had none of the symptoms since 2017. The doctor I saw, rather than a nurse, said it was an upper respiratory infection. Nurses refused to give antibiotics as there was no fever, so I was glad I insisted on seeing a doctor.

Unfortunately I relapsed at the start of this year and have just finished R n B, have a complete metabolic response which is great. I'm going to try R maintenance but if I get lots of infections I will stop.
