Back to chemo, this time it's carboplatin and caelyx. Has anyone had this? What side effects did you have?

Hi.  I haven’t had chemo for over 5 years and for ovarian cancer. I struggled them on carboplatin and taxol. I really struggled.  

The cancer is now in my lymph and a shadow on my peritoneum so I have to go back and get carbo again but with caelyx

anyone have any tips or let me know of the side effects they have had so this time I can be ready

  • I'm sorry to hear your cancer has returned uplift, and that you need to have chemo again.

    It's completely understandable why you want to be prepared and hopefully some of our members who have had this combination of chemotherapy can help you out and will hopefully be along soon to share their experiences and advice.
