I was told i would lose all my hair after my first chemo, my daughters told me one day as I was walking across the road that the wind was blowing it off my head so got my daughter to shave it off.  Mine was through the winter last year November, so had some warm hats one which had 'Bad Hair Day' embroidered on it, couldn't resist it, everyone loved it.  Didn't like being without hat or wig I got in front of anyone not even my husband, took me ages to do it.  One daughter bought me some lovely scarves when the weather got warmer so that wasn't too bad.  My hair has now been growing since March and is greyer and rather wavy which is odd because my hair was always straight  but everyone seems to like it.  I am hoping it gets a bit thicker before October as I am looking forward to a well deserved holiday in Spain after all my treatment.  I suppose it is something we all have to deal with in our own way, hope all goes well for you
