  • Hi no he didnt tell me what type , he only said my onco score is 21 so im borderline so i have to come back next week with a decision. Havnt a clue what to do!!

  • I think that’s a little naughty without giving you the information. Have you a breast cancer nurse? If you call her and ask her to find out for you so you can make an informed decision.

I don’t have a choice but like you, I’d be unsure too.

  • Hi,  i had decided to go with the chemo but the doctor decided he would be over treating my breast cancer, as its hormone receptive positive, ill have radium  , hormone reducing injections  and daily hormone blockers. Its all like a rollercoaster in this journey, think your goung one direction and then changes. Getting ct sczn and tatoo 2moro to get ready for radium. But i also feel with the chemo your fully armed to tackle the ( *****)!!!  To reduce any recurrance in the future. Best of luck on friday hope its a slice of cake for you. I was told to ignore the scare stories  everyone is different . Put your feet up and take it easy.  Please let me know how your getting on. Im sure your gonna just breeze through it. Are you hormone receptive? Or her2- or +. I cant believe ive learned so much about breast cancer in the last few weeks i never knew before. Just a tip, ignore dr. Google ( didnt do my head any favours)!!  Let the qualified doctors do there job and get us nack to normal again soon. Xxx

  • Hi

Thats annoying that they gave you the choice, which you then built yourself up to then said no.

I haven’t had a ct scan yet. I hope it’s not like an mri I hated them.

Good luck with radio. I have that after chemo.

    i have grade 3 er+7 pr+7 HER2+

I’ve not read much on it just the nhs stuff I was given and then just that I need to stay hydrated, check my temp regularly and that I may lose sense of smell and taste.  My dad has read it all but I know if I do I’d probably  imagine it’s happening. So will only read it if something happens.
