re chemo I do t know what type of chemo you are having.But my husband Had introvenus chemo and tablet form for 3 months  on a   3 week cycke.Although he was tired it was not as bad as he thought no sickness and no hair loss .Also his lung cancer tumor had responded well .Having a break and go back in Feb for another cat scan unless we see a decline.Do t panic and keep positive.

I'm sorry to say I put on  two stone due to all the tablets. I was a size 10 and am now a 16 which is more than I've ever been. Really awful but Im guessing the grand scheme of things. At least I'm alive. It's very slowly coming off but waiting til Jan so I can go on a massive diet for my wedding in March. Fingers crossed. Don't stress about weight gain, it will happen but your life is more important xx

Thank you - were you able to exercise during your chemotherapy?

If you feel up to excercise then go ahead but you may find that you don't want to.

Just take each treatment one at a time

But there is nothing to stop you excerciseing if you want to.

Some people do put weight on due to chemo (that varies from one type of chemo to the next)  but most of us lose weight due to the side effects. 

However, sometimes steroids are given to mitigate the side effects and that often does lead to weight gain. 

I exercised as much as I could - mainly dog walking away from people as I was scared of catching a cold - partly to keep my fitness levels up but mainly to get myself out of the house and developing chemo blues.

Try not to overthink this - take each day as it comes and you'll get through the experiencke.
