they do not close a practice lightly so extremely worrying particularly for a reasonable sized practice as this is.

you will be able to read the report on line as findings are published.

the other practice has probably been inundated so had to close its books. This is most likely temporary they will open up again when things settle down. 

Ring PALS if you have any problems with meds or receiving care... they will advise and ensure you are supported from a practical and legal perspective.

I now question your local pharmacy stance that they were unaware of the practice closure.

guess best case is the practice were already working to improve but missing deadlines.... on the spot closure is...is... it just is....

Thanks Sandra & Beach. You're right....it is nothing til it is :-) Had blood tests yesterday and the specialist from the hospital is calling me this afternoon to discuss the results and discuss whether any other tests need doing. I guess its a good thing they are being so cautious. Just had massive bouts of anxiety since friday but to be expected I suppose. On a good note, I had the midwife yesterday and little man is growing as he should and heartbeat is perfect so least none of my worries seem to be affecting him. Seems to be flying by now...only got 9 weeks left at work...not that im counting.

Thank you,....hair is a work in progress lol but for the time being its me so I will embrace it!

Phonecall yesterday was a waste of time. It was just a triage nurse type person, not a consultant like I was told. She had been there a week...didnt know id had cancer before and was unaware I was pregnant. Surely having my medical history infront of her should have been standard! Anyway, got no answers, just that she would pass the info onto a consultant who would be in touch. Its just the waiting as you know that is the hard part. Id rather know whats what good or bad as least i'll know what im dealing with. Grrrrrr x

mind you if it was up to me we would all have the retired life but with plenty of money.... that way we would all catch the suns rays when it does decide to show it’s face ;-)
