If you can find a Macmillian centre please attend. They are really helpful. Just had a talk at the hospital from them and it was full of good information and contacts. A phone number to call should the treatment make you feel ill, all sorts of support. Please try to find one X

How are you? Hope you are managing and not working too hard. I'm getting a bit of fatigue which is so frustrating. 

I've seen your comments on a couple of other posts and hope you are ok, just been thinking of you and sending positivity over the ether :)

Not working now off sick now for 3 months, but I maybe ok to back soon but don't worry I will go back in my own.

I started radiotherapy yesterday wasn't too bad and I had chemotherapy and radiotherapy today, got the hospital at 12.15 and got home at 8pm

8hrs?!! You must be exhausted x 

Im still working but my job is easy with many perks...like mum coming in to help me! I don't really need her to but she is desperate to 'do something' so it keeps her happy. I'm nice like that

Hope the side affects are few. Have you had information on side affects and symptoms? Also to tell them about anything that feels different, they can help. Nausea, tingling, temperature...I'm happy to type up notes on the talk I had if you would like! 

Is your daughter coping? I hope she is able to be with you.

Update...had a letter today. Bloods tomorrow then a radiotherapy planning ct on Monday. My bravado is waining rapidly. Feeling a little shaky.

How is it going?

We are on very similar plans, including the internals which I am not looking forward to. 

I was handed a leaflet about free makeup/pamper sessions in hospitals.

My battle starts 7/8 and stops 13/9 of radio and weekly chemo of Cisplatin, 3 internal and 4 MRI's.
