  • Hello Cazzy1977,

I am so sorry to hear your partner has been diagnosed with metastatic cancer and I just wanted you to know that you are not alone and hopefully I will be joined by members of our community who have been affected by cancer in a similar way and have looked after a loved one with metastatic cancer. Our website has helpful tips to help you support someone with cancer and you might in the future need additional help, care and support at home for your husband due to cancer or its treatment and there is a lot of practical and emotional support available to you and your family.

Our nurses are also available on this free helpline 0808 800 4040 and you can get in touch with them Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm for advice or simply to talk things through with them - the helpline is closed over the Easter weekend and Easter Monday but will reopen at 9am on Tuesday.

We're thinking of you and your partner during this challenging time and we hope that you are able to enjoy a peaceful Easter Sunday together.

    Best wishes,

    Lucie, Cancer Chat Moderator
