I'm always tired at the moment. Not sleeping well at night at all since surgery. Going to see my oncologist in a few weeks so going to see if he can give me any advice on sleeping. I find I'm waking up every 1-2 hours and struggling to get back to sleep as then my brain starts thinking about everything that's happened in the last few months and worrying about what's going to happen in the next few months xxx
Hi Jac, I too had breast cancer and finished treatment June 22. I had surgery, chemo and radiotherapy, now on letrozole for 5 years, my oncotype was 35.
I was advised to start creaming my breast daily with Alovera or Aveno about a month before starting radiotherapy , I used a mixture and have to say I had no problem what so ever, didn't even feel like I'd had anything done to be honest. I'm not sure if it was the cream or I was just very lucky. I also applied the Flamizone cream many times a day after the radiotherapy.
