I’m not worried for myself, just the people I care about.  It has been a pretty miserable couple of years with mum going into care and then my sister dying, which I’m still getting over (not that we ever get over it). She was very brave, not a word of complaint.

Thanks Chrissie,  I hope you are well again now.  I did manage to tell him last night,without making it a big deal, and he’s coming with me to the clinic tomorrow.

I am glad to hear that you have now told your partner. You will find that this will be much easier for you both to cope with this if you can be totally open with one another. Sadly, cancer doesn't just affect the patient, but but affects their family almost as much. 

I am still hoping that you will get another benign diagnosis.

I’m pleased to say everything was ok. They had picked up a change from the last mammogram three years ago and wanted to check it again.

This is fantastic news. I am so happy for you and hope that you and your partner celebrated in style tonight.

This means that you don't have to hide a diagnosis from your mother too, which must be a great relief. It is almost impossible to hide it if you need radiotherapy and, need to attend daily.

Your news has made my day today and, I sincerely hope that you never have to go through this again.
